CENTER FOR DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND RESILIENCE (CFDRRR)
CFDRRR is a start-up. It was in the prestigious launch pad comprising of 22 entrepreneurs selected by IIM Bangalore NSRCEL (http://www.nsrcel.org/nsrcelsocial/flipbook ) and was invited for the Global Entrepreneurship Summit, Hyderabad.
CFDRRR was based on the multi-sectoral model that was selected and presented at IDRC, DAVOS 2008 and at LSU, SDMI, USA.
Our vision is:
: - To Coordinate with all stake holders which includes the government corporate community
: - To Empower every stake holder on basic lifesaving skills
: - To Prepare every stake holder to handle any emergency with practical skills and implementable plans.
: - To Respond to any emergency efficiently and effectively with existent material.
Credentials:
Our flagship program with Shri Mata Vasishno Devi Shrine Board was in the prestigious list of the UN SASAKAWA Award 2015 ( www.wcdrr.org/sasakawa ), It is testimony to the success of our model.
CFDRRR shares with immense pride to have been supported by Sir Ratan Tata for the Nashik kumbhmela. This work was selected by Global platform, Mexico Cancun (http:// www.unisdr.org/conferences/2017/globalplatform/en/program/ignite-stage/view/721 )
